# Partner development through the API

As a partner, you'll integrate with the Vipps MobilePay API platform to build solutions for your merchants. This page provides an overview of what you need to get started with your technical integration.

## Before you begin

Make sure you've completed the partner signup process and received your test environment credentials. If you're just starting out, see [Become a partner](https://developer.vippsmobilepay.com/docs/partner/README.md) for details on joining our partner program.

## Understanding API keys

## The integration process

Once you have your test credentials, you'll need to:

1. **Get familiar with the test environment** - Set up your development environment and test the APIs using the [test environment](https://developer.vippsmobilepay.com/docs/knowledge-base/test-environment.md). Download the [Merchant Test (MT) app](https://developer.vippsmobilepay.com/docs/knowledge-base/test-environment.md#test-apps) to test payment flows.

3. **Complete the checklists** - Work through both the product-specific checklists and the partner-specific requirements.

4. **Go through quality review** - Submit your integration for review by our team before going live with merchants.
