Testing the API

Get set up to test your Vipps MobilePay integration with our comprehensive testing resources and tools.

Test environment setup​

  • Test environment – Access the Merchant Test (MT) environment, download test apps, and understand testing limitations and capabilities.
  • API keys – Retrieve and manage your API keys for both test and production environments through the business portal.
  • API servers – Find the correct server URLs for test and production environments across all APIs.

Authentication and tools​

  • Authentication – Understand how to authenticate API requests using Access tokens and implement proper security practices.
  • Postman – Use our Postman collections to quickly test API endpoints and explore functionality before implementing in your code.

Ready to go live?​

Once you've thoroughly tested your integration, retrieve your production API keys from the business portal and complete the checklist for your API (e.g., ePayment checklist, Recurring checklist).
