# Agentic commerce

**Who is this for?**

This documentation is for **businesses** that want to accept payments in agentic or conversational flows (e.g. via chat or AI assistants), and for **platforms** (such as agents or apps) that facilitate checkout and need to offer Vipps MobilePay as a payment option using the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP).

Agentic commerce covers flows where AI assistants or other agents act on behalf of the user. Vipps MobilePay supports this through the **Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP)** and the **Vipps MobilePay Payment Handler**.
